Hey there, Golden owner!
614 Goldens was started in December 2017 by Abby and her Golden girl, Sophie, as a way of connecting Columbus-area Goldens and their owners. In addition to monthly meetups, Abby also plans donation drives for local rescues & shelters, a Secret Santa exchange for the pups, a yearly calendar, and more!
To join 614 Goldens, you must have a purebred Golden Retriever and live within one hour of downtown Columbus. The best way to find out about meetups and other events is to be added to the email list by submitting your info at the bottom of this page, or you can follow on Instagram!
Meetups are usually held at private dog parks or members homes, but occasionally there are some at local breweries, coffee shops, and public dog parks too. All 614 Goldens members are welcome at the meetups, and if you own other non-Goldens, they're allowed to attend as long as the Golden is there!

Looking for information on the
Midwest Golden Meetup?
The Midwest Golden Meetup is a regional event celebrating Golden Retrievers. It was held for the second consecutive year in 2026 and was a great day.
Currently, we are expecting to have the event again in 2027 but no specific details are ready.
